I Hate u

Love is for those who care
hate is for those who hate
friends are those who will be there till the end
parents are those to say never be late
You said you loved me because you cared
but at the same time you said you hated me
as long as your there i will never leave
and we can talk our problems over tea
Some poems are for people to realize
and some are to make you believe
stories are sometimes made up
but some ones love is to make you relieve.

Why do u make me mad?
Make me sad?
Make me cry?
Make me wanna die?
You say u love me
then u play games with my heart
and eventually tear it all
you said u would always love me
I thought it was true
but all it was was u being you
I will always love you no matter what
this may be true
even though u always turn me blue.

Thank You Mom-for holding me in your loving arms every time I cried. Thank You Mom-for changing my diaper and singing me to sleep. Thank You Mom-for holding my hand as you walked me onto the bus my first day of school. Thank You Mom-for trudging through the snow each winter to watch me perform in the school play. Thank You Mom-for cooking my favorite dinner the night I struck out to end the game. Thank You Mom-for calling to say "I love you" the night I slept over Aunt house. Thank You Mom-for bringing out the lemonade when we played baseball. Thank You Mom-for laughing often. Thank You Mom-for writing me that letter the day I was rejected from college. Thank You Mom-for praying for me before you close your eyes each night. Thank You Mom-for having the strength to give me life, even after God took away my loved ones. Thank You Mom-for saving me some chocolate chip cookies. Thank You Mom-for teaching me to believe in myself. Thank You Mom-for telling me stories about my grandparents. Thank You Mom-for showing me how to help those less fortunate than me. Thank You Mom-for saying "I Love You" every time I see you. Thank You Mom-for bringing a smile to my face every time I think of you.

A lovely rose with petals soft
A scent so sweet and light
So beautiful a flower
With colors shining bright.
But something not so savory
About the fragrant rose -
The thorns, so sharp upon the stem,
That sharpen as it grows.
Yet still lovely is the flower
Despite the thorns that prick
Just as life and love are sweet
They too have thorns that stick.
But do not fear to live or love,
Life's not exempt from pain -
So pick a rose, you may get hurt,
But you will also gain!
